With over 1,000 shows, traveling 48 states & performing in 32 the past 4 year, singer-songwriter Kevin Wayne Gruen has opened for many internationally touring acts across the nation including a recent sell out show at Stifel Theatre opening for Country sensations Bailey Zimmerman, ERNEST & Kassi Ashton, as well as acts such as blues giant Jeremiah Johnson and sharing the stage with up & coming great friend and country singer Ruby Leigh!

The most recent full band album “Old Time Feeling” explores and reflects on this period of Kevin’s life in which travelling across the U.S. through the power of music was very front and center…But of a course a ramblin’ man must ramble on as KWG has recently confirmed his first European Tour starting in the Fall of 2025.
The humble beginnings that outline singer-songwriter Kevin Gruen begin in rural Western Illinois where Mr. Gruen grew up across the countryside & small towns, listening to influences from The Beatles, Pink Floyd & Led Zeppelin to Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley & Patsy Cline growing up.
Since starting as a full-time performer, Mr. Gruen has performed an average of 250-300 solo shows per year across the lower 48 contiguous states with no plans of slowing down any time soon! His other features include FM radio placements on stations across the nation including KVCM 95.1 FM Los Angeles, 88.1 FM KDHX St. Louis & WJBM 104.7 FM Jerseyville, IL; and mentions on 93.7 The Bull!
Although Mr. Gruen is performing more band shows, he can often be found performing 4-12 shows weekly around the St. Louis area, with 275 shows across 10 states in 2023. Kevin’s one-man-band act often consists of himself singing and playing guitar or keyboard while using his feet to live loop, making for an extraordinary experience!
